Purpose/Principle
Testing is performed on peripheral blood collections for CAR-T manufacturing to provide the absolute number of T cells (CD3) per microliter.
Special Collection Notes
Mix sample well after collection to prevent specimen clotting.

Whole Blood:
Purple Top-EDTA (Preferred)
Dark Green Top-Sodium Heparin
Light Green Top-Lithium Heparin
Specimen Volume
Preferred: 1.0 mL
Minimum: 0.5 mL
Processing Instructions
Submit whole blood -DO NOT CENTRIFUGE.
Store and send ambient.
Sample must received into the lab Monday-Friday(before noon). Do not send sample on Friday (after noon), Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
