Purpose/Principle

The Neutrophil Oxidative Burst (NOB) assay is used to support the diagnosis of X-linked Chronic Granulomatous Disease (XL-CGD), XL-CGD carriers, and autosomal recessive forms of CGD (AR-CGD). The NOB assay can also be used as a monitoring tool for success of engraftment following hematopoietic or stem cell transplant for CGD.
