Purpose/Principle

This test detected the Minor BCR::ABL1 p190 fusion transcripts using a reverse transcriptase PCR-based real-time fluorescent signal detection was performed. Results are reported as a quantitative ratio of BCR::ABL1 p190/ABL1 with an established upper limit of linearity of 25% and a lower limit of linearity of 0.0060%. Transcripts detected above the upper limit of linearity will be reported as detected and no quantitative value is provided. Transcripts detected at a level below the linear range of the assay will be reported as such, without a quantitative value. This assay detects the fusion types indicated below and does not detect other major or minor BCR::ABL1 transcripts.
