Test Code LAB10055 Proinflammatory Cytokines
Performing Section
Immunology/Flow
Purpose/Principle
This method uses a microfluidics based immunoassay performed inside a consumable microfluidic Simple Plex assay cartridge. Similar to a pre-kitted ELISA, analytes are pre-loaded into the cartridge and wash buffer and patient samples are added into the cartridge and loaded onto the Ella instrument. Inside each fluidic channel are three glass nanoreactors (GNRs) coated with capture antibody, providing built-in replicate measurements for each analyte. With pre-loaded factory calibrated standard curves, fully analyzed data is available in less than 90 minutes.
Special Collection Notes
Ensure that samples collected in red top tubes have been fully clotted and separated.
